Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for admission to the B. Ed program, a candidate must have:
i) A minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Candidates shall be selected for admission in the B. Ed program on the basis of his/her academic records and/or if necessary. On the basis of their performance in admission tests.
Aim and Objectives of the Program:
The aim of the program is to produce educational professionals and effective practitioners. The specific objectives of the program are to help the learners to acquire:
Degree requirements:
i) Completion of minimum 36 credits
ii) Passing of all courses individually and maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.50
Academic Year, Semester and credits per semester:
Each academic year is divided into three semesters. During a semester each course of 3 credits will meet 3 hours in a week.
The number of courses to be taken by a candidate during a semester is 12 credits or equivalent courses.
